ASEAN Zine

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Monday, 21 Muharram 1443H corresponding to 29 August 2021M.

In conjunction with the 11th ASEAN Youth Forum, one of the expected outcome of this forum is for the delegates to come up with an official publication called ASEAN Zine in commemorating their participation in the forum.

The ASEAN Zine is a publication containing a collection of artworks, articles and any other forms of creative expression produced by the delegates of the 11th ASEAN Youth Forum (AYF). Its curation will be managed by ASEAN Youth Advocates Network Brunei Darussalam (AYAN Brunei). The production period will take place during the month of August and will be officially launched at the Closing Ceremony of the 11th ASEAN Youth Forum on Friday, 27th August 2021 at ICC by the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Brunei Darussalam. The ASEAN Zine serves as a unique platform for ASEAN delegates to showcase their various cultures, traditions, landmarks, nature, people and many more to celebrate the diversity of ASEAN.

The delegates were encouraged to submit their publication for the ASEAN Zine as creatively as possible. These include ways such as but not limited to Articles; Poetry; Stories; Photos; and/or Artworks. They were also allowed to include their personal introductions; culture and traditions; the landmarks and places of interest in their respective home country; their local foods and drinks; and lastly, youth initiatives available in their country (e.g. Youth initiatives to tackle COVID-19 in their country).
